Sandy is co-founder/principal of The Castle Group, a women-owned, Boston-based strategic marketing firm best known for PR, digital/social media, and events management. The firm, based in Boston, has satellite offices in Atlanta and Maui.

Sandy is regularly sought after by professional service firms, educational institutions, large corporations, startups and non-profits for her guidance on strategic communication initiatives including visibility campaigns, product launches and re-brandings. She's a national expert on crisis communications and reputation management.

Active in the community, Sandy serves on the boards of The Center for Women and Enterprise, March of Dimes, Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, and BC Chief Executives Club of Boston. Sandy is also a member and past chair of the WGBH Corporate Executive Council, and member of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum. On the executive committee of the Public Relations Global Network, Sandy interacts almost daily with agency principals in every major media market to develop world-class relationships for her clients and teams.

Before founding The Castle Group in 1996 with friend and business partner Wendy Spivak, Sandy held in-house marketing positions in the public and private sectors.

Sandy grew up in Brookline, Mass., lives in Walpole with her husband and two teenagers, and is a UMass Amherst alumna.
